This past weekend I had to shoot the Red Bull Manny Mania Durban qualifiers at Wave House and this weekend I’m off to Joburg to shoot the finals on Sunday. This competition is all about the technical side of skateboarding and photos can’t really do the tricks justice. That said all I do is take photos so here they are. haha. Congrats to Dlamini Dlamini who owned it!!

A friend of mine celebrated her 21st birthday on Saturday night. The theme was Lumo Tribe Vibe and things got very colourful. UV lights everywhere and lumo body paint made for an eye feast. Here is a twilightish snap I shot… trying to figure out white balance was a real challenge. Happy Birthday Tammy.. welcome to adulthood.. keep your essence forever young wild child.

Last weekend Saturday I got the immense pleasure to work with Buttons and her posse from Salt Water Girl. I am really getting more and more into fashion. Really enjoy working as a team and the creative process involved. This feature is for Aug/Sept issue which goes on shelves mid July.. keep an eye out. I’ll post a tearsheet of the feature but for now here is a closeup of Skye Quinn who I’m sure will be going a long way in her modelling career.
