Just before Christmas myself and a friend Joshy who works at Voicebox Recording Studios headed to Umzumbe to hand over some kindly donated second hand surf boards on behalf of Mahala Surf Co, a non profit charity organisation. The goal being to get street kids off the glue and in the massive loo…. despite it rhyming, with ocean conditions as they are its a sad but almost accurate description. Giving feel goooooood. Michelle aka Hankis Magpie Malone fell in love with my best friend (and vice versa) Jimmy on my couch on my engagement party. Oh how they gazed into each others eyes and tenderly caressed each others hair. The air was thick with love and they breathed in more than they could handle, resulting in the romance that has ensued over the last year and a bit. They are great together and this picture proves it.
