This a super quick one as I’m late for my best friend’s 30th but I’m super psyched on this… Guy Buttery is in town and we shot a few portraits today with my new DIY ringflash. This is the first image I’ve processed and I am amped to get to the rest. He’s playing at the Hilton Arts Festival tonight so go watch if you can.

I’m so late on posting these up but here are the final results of the engagement shoot I did with Dan and Nadia. Nadia had them posted on her blog http://www.lovecupcakecouture.blogspot.com and the response has been awesome. They are a fun, classy couple with a taste for vintage retro. Their wedding is coming up in November and with Nadia’s attention to design detail I can only imagine how great it will be and although I normally don’t do weddings I have the privilege of shooting it.

Glen Dell was in town for the Durban Air Show a while back and I went and shot some pics of him for Red Bull. One of the great things about working with Red Bull is the amazing opportunity of working with such people of interest. It’s a constant challenge trying to do justice in a portrait but working with Glen awesome. This is his new plane by the way which was only 2 and a half hours when we took these.

Quite a while back I got the opportunity to shoot a new mens underwear label called Corrupt through Public Address. We had a lot of fun on this shoot with all the tongue in cheek scenarios that were conceptualized and I am happy to see that the brand as of yesterday has gone live. Corrupt products will only be available through their website which you can see here. If you’re a slim fit kinda guy, then these are for you.

The sensational 80’s cover band HAIRLIP asked me to fire off some last minute press pics. Any chance I get to work with these guys I snap up in an instant. We have some plans for a comprehensive photoshoot in the near future but for now here are some shots of the group on the Durban beachfront from last month. So when I swopped my vows with my exceptionally beautiful and at the time red lipped wife I was in fact getting myself a new entourage of family. Included in that posse and the focus of this post is our house mate Jacki Bruniquel who is just one of the most talented and unique visioned photographer / artist in the world. No word of a lie! I am finally free to update my blog with all the happenings from the past two months. Starting with Lily Bird’s Summer 2010 fashion shoot. This was the second range I had the immense pleasure of shooting for Jen and Jess’s love child, Lily Bird. Check out their new website and if you like what you see then join their facebook page.
