2011 YOU LOOK SO FINE

Saturday, January 1st, 2011

Here are two shots of Umdloti’s first 2011 sunrise. I’m really looking forward to this year as I am sure most people are. Just have one of those feelings that it’ll be grand. Three cheers and high fives.. Happy New Year.

Go For Gold Motherf***er

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

Sunday was epic. A highlight of all Sunday’s past. Spent the day with my fiancé and some of my closest friends minus one. Here is some kind of a visual diary of the day with a title taken from one of the day’s endless, soon to be infamous quotes. From our starting out in the forrest in Umhlali to making our way to the sunset lookout to dinner at the Bush Tavern, Umdloti’s finest.

2010

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

I have often been told I potter around too much and judging by how late this post is I’m prone to agreeing. Think I just found my new years resolution too! So 2010 has had some hype and all I can say is I’m feeling it! So much going on this year, so much to look forward to and it’s the last year of my twenty’s. Hectic.

So for new years a few friends made a trip up to the midlands to chill and get away from the city. Took in some fly fishing and some fine dining and entered this year so charged. I’m still working through my pics but have to run off for a shoot now. Figured I’d just throw these four up first and then the rest tonight or tomorrow.

Hope you all had an amazing festive season and that this year is going to be as good for you as it’s gonna be for me. All that’s left to say is… peaches!

CANE-DY MAN

Friday, September 4th, 2009

I’ve been living in Umdloti since February and have no idea I why I haven’t just wondered into the cane fields till now. On Tuesday on my way to dropping off our domestic worker I decided I felt like a wee photo mission, so packed in my trusty D300 and 50mm lens and ran to the hills (iron maiden intended). The cane is mid way through harvest so not exactly what I had in mind but it was pretty uplifting cruising solo in the fields and I’m sure it’s something I might find myself doing quite often.
