Jayde Weare phoned me up the other day and asked if I’d be keen to shoot some stuff for an exclusive jewelry line with a cause venture that she is working on. She pulled some strings to get us into the Oyster Box Hotel for the day. It was a long day but well worth it. Kyla Close from Ice Models is just too awesome! Go like the Create Hope facebook page.

If you have been following my fashion stuff you would most probably know Black Hawk Clothing. Well the same guys behind the Black Hawk brand have a new line called Art Industries and they got me to shoot the new range using none other than Skullboy aka Louis De Villiers who is an amazing graphic designer buddy of mine who works at Disturbance and has some f’n awesome tattoos. Last weekend Saturday I got the immense pleasure to work with Buttons and her posse from Salt Water Girl. I am really getting more and more into fashion. Really enjoy working as a team and the creative process involved. This feature is for Aug/Sept issue which goes on shelves mid July.. keep an eye out. I’ll post a tearsheet of the feature but for now here is a closeup of Skye Quinn who I’m sure will be going a long way in her modelling career.

Jess Harwood who I am really hoping to call my sister in law one day has a clothing label called Take Care For ages I have been wanting to shoot some images for her and a month back I finally got the chance. The look and feel she wanted was very specific and a bit different for me, which I loved the challenge of. Pensive Melancholy being the theme. Attached are a few shots I am really stoked on. I really need to shoot more fashion stuff, it’s awesome. Thanks Jess… hope you psyched with the results.

Man I’ve been busy lately. In such a good way! Ned to catch up on blog updates but here are some shots from the Lilybird Winter 2011 shoot I did the other day. Finally got to work with Candice Mac Nicol and what a treat that was. We shot these on location in the Durban Marina in around the Offshore Sailing Academy bays. Quite a while back I got the opportunity to shoot a new mens underwear label called Corrupt through Public Address. We had a lot of fun on this shoot with all the tongue in cheek scenarios that were conceptualized and I am happy to see that the brand as of yesterday has gone live. Corrupt products will only be available through their website which you can see here. If you’re a slim fit kinda guy, then these are for you.

I am finally free to update my blog with all the happenings from the past two months. Starting with Lily Bird’s Summer 2010 fashion shoot. This was the second range I had the immense pleasure of shooting for Jen and Jess’s love child, Lily Bird. Check out their new website and if you like what you see then join their facebook page.
