Szerdi and Andrew

Saturday, August 18th, 2012

I don’t normally shoot weddings but here are a few portraits of Andrew and Szerdi’s which happened in Mozambique a month ago. Don’t know how wedding photographers like Jacki Bruniquel do this week after week as I can’t imagine connecting on such an emotional level with so many people. It’s like extending your family but family you’re not likely to see again. Bitter sweet I guess.

Tearsheet: Rock ‘n Roll Bride

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

The wedding I shot for Rob and Justine got featured on www.rocknrollbride.com on Monday. I’m so stoked. Earned myself a good few twitter followers out of the whole thing too. New Media amazes me at times. Oh and if you want New Media work done in SA look up these guys – www.gorillacreativemedia.com I posted the sneak peak of one shot the other day but for a whole gallery of the images plus the great video job Jimmy Reynolds did for them click here

Sneak Peak: Dan + Nadia’s Wedding

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

Nadia is probably the most productive, thorough and driven person I have ever met. How she finds time to do the things she does amazes me. Take a look at her blog – http://lovecupcakecouture.blogspot.com (all done after hours). You might recognize her stuff from I Heart Market. Her husband Daniel works with vintage furniture and has hands as skilled as Geppetto’s in that he can take old pieces of wood and bring them to life as he did with our radiogram. Great job Daniel, we love it. Itching to finish these pics. For someone who doesn’t do weddings I’ve sure been lucky to shoot the one’s I have. Thanks for trusting me you two.

Mr & Mrs Gerrard

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010

I don’t usually shoot weddings but at the end of this year I ended up shooting three. Here are some shots from the first. Still working on the other two. Mark & Nicola went beyond being clients, always a pleasure when you get to work with fun folk. Thanks for the good times you two.

Self Portrait With Wife

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

So on May 08, 2010 I married the most beautiful girl on earth. The former Miss Bruniquel and now upgraded Mrs Lisa Bradley. I had to at least shoot one pic at the wedding and here it is. Despite world cup fever the weather just wasn’t amped to play ball [oh the cheese] but we made the most of it and shared the most magical day with our nearest and dearest. Needed to get this one up.. now to catch up on work and get blogging again. Cheers xx
